  • How can I make Variable Refresh Rate (Adaptive-Sync / FreeSync Premium / G-Sync Compatible) work on my monitor?

  • Monitors are passive devices and, therefore, require a graphics card to output compatible signals to enable Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) features. So the first step we would like to suggest is to check if your graphics card supports VRR technology (The name of VRR technology may vary from Adaptive-Sync, FreeSync to G-Sync).

  • The default color mode is "FPS1" mode, which is fine-tuned for scenes in CS:GO. 

    *in some regions, the default color is set to "ECO" mode to meet the regulatory requirements.

    *For XL-X models, "FPS1" mode is fine-tuned for CS2.
     

    If your preference is far from those preset settings, you may try the “Standard" mode color first and further customize it to your preferred settings.

  • For 240Hz models, please check the following:

    1. Make sure to use HDMI 2.0 or DP 1.2a cable.
    2. If HDMI 2.0 cable is used, make sure to connect to the correct HDMI 2.0 port.
    3. If DP1.2a cable is used, make sure to use the one bundled by ZOWIE.
    4. Make sure to update to the latest graphic card driver version.
    5. Make sure to check if the graphic card supports up to 240Hz.

     

    For 360Hz models, please check the following:

    1. Make sure to use DP 1.4 cable.
    2. If DP 1.4 cable is used, make sure to use the one bundled by ZOWIE.
    3. Make sure to update to the latest graphic card driver version.
    4. Make sure to check if the graphic card supports up to 360Hz.

     

    If you are running Win 10, follow this: Setting > System > Display > Advanced Display Settings > Display Adapter Properties.
    Then click the “Monitor” tab, choose your preferred resolution and 240Hz/360Hz refresh rate from the “Screen Refresh Rate” list, and click “OK.”

     

    If you are running Win 11, follow this: Setting > System > Display > Advanced Display > Display information > Choose a refresh rate. Then choose your 240Hz/360Hz refresh rate.

     

    Or you can do the setting via GPU control panel

    If it is NVIDIA GPU, please open the NVIDIA control panel, and then head to “Change Resolution” tab under the “Display” option, and then choose your preferred resolution under “PC (not Ulta HD, HD, SD)”, and choose “240Hz” / "360Hz" under “Refresh rate” option.

    If it is AMD GPU, right click on your desktop and select “AMD Radeon Settings”, and then click on the “Display” option, and then you can choose your preferred resolution and 240Hz/360Hz under the Display options page.

  • Please check the followings:

    1. Press the monitor's OSD control keys or 5-way controller and check the Input
        options to see if DisplayPort is selectable. If DisplayPort is not selectable,
        please ensure the DisplayPort cable is properly connected to both devices.

    2. If the DisplayPort option is selectable but no signal appears on the screen,
        unplug the cable and plug it back in to allow the monitor to re-detect the
        connection.

    3. If the issue persists, try connecting the monitor using HDMI to confirm that
        the monitor functions correctly, then attempt the DisplayPort connection again.

    4. Ensure you have updated to the latest graphics card driver and motherboard
        BIOS version. If you cannot update the driver while connected via DisplayPort
        due to no signal, switch connections to HDMI if possible.

    5. If possible, test the monitor with multiple devices using DisplayPort and verify
        that at least one device shows a signal. Trying different DisplayPort cables and
        cross-testing the cable with other devices may also help.

    6. If the problem occurs suddenly after normal DisplayPort usage, use HDMI to
        ensure that DisplayPort is set to a resolution and refresh rate supported by the
        monitor.

    D. Models with 540/600Hz:

    1. Make sure to use the DP 1.4/HDMI 2.1 cable that came with the monitor.
    2. Make sure to update to the latest graphics card driver version.
    3. Make sure you are running Windows 11 and that it is up to date.   (Please note that Windows 10 has a limit of 500Hz.)
    4. Make sure that your graphics card supports 540/600Hz.
