FAQs

Q1. How does ZOWIE Sync connect to the monitor?

ZOWIE Sync uses NFC to initiate the connection, and then communicates with the monitor through Bluetooth. To connect successfully, please make sure:

(a) NFC is enabled on your phone

(b) Bluetooth is enabled on your phone

(c) The Bluetooth switch on the monitor is turned on

Q2. How is ZOWIE Sync different from XL Setting to Share?

ZOWIE Sync and ZOWIE Setting to Share are two different tools designed for different usage scenarios.

ZOWIE Setting to Share is primarily used on a PC, allowing users to transfer monitor settings between monitors and manage settings across different ZOWIE devices.

ZOWIE Sync allows you to store and apply monitor settings directly from your phone, making it easier to carry your preferred configuration wherever you play.

Both tools use the same monitor profile format, allowing settings to be shared between them.

Q3. Do I need to pair the monitor every time?

No. After the initial NFC pairing, the phone and monitor will automatically reconnect when they are within range.

Please make sure Bluetooth remains enabled on your phone.

Q4. What is the connection range?

The connection range between the phone and the monitor is approximately 2 meters.

If the phone moves beyond this distance, the connection will be disconnected.

When the phone returns within range, the connection will reconnect automatically.

Q5. Does my phone need NFC to connect?

Yes. NFC is required to initiate the connection between the phone and the monitor.

Phones without NFC support cannot connect to the monitor.

Q6. What if NFC pairing does not work properly?

The location of the NFC antenna varies depending on the phone model.

If the connection is not detected, please check the NFC antenna position on your phone and use that area to touch the monitor.

For best results, it is recommended to perform pairing while the phone is unlocked.

Q7. How many monitors can be paired with one phone?

One phone can store connections with up to four monitors.

Each monitor can only be paired with one phone at a time.

If another phone pairs with the monitor, the previous phone connection will be disconnected."

Q8. Why can't my phone reconnect to the monitor?

If your phone cannot reconnect to the monitor, please check the following:

(1) Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone.

(2) Make sure the Bluetooth switch on the monitor is turned on.

(3) Ensure your phone is within 2 meters of the monitor.

(4) If Cybercafe Reset is enabled, the connection will be cleared after the monitor power is turned off. You will need to pair the monitor again using NFC.

Q9. Can I apply XL series monitor settings to an XQ series monitor?

Yes. Monitor settings from the XL series can be imported and applied to XQ series monitors.

However, due to differences in panel characteristics, color specifications, and color gamut, the actual color performance may vary between different monitor series.
