How can I make Variable Refresh Rate (Adaptive-Sync / FreeSync Premium / G-Sync Compatible) work on my monitor?
Monitors are passive devices and, therefore, require a graphics card to output compatible signals to enable Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) features. So the first step we would like to suggest is to check if your graphics card supports VRR technology (The name of VRR technology may vary from Adaptive-Sync, FreeSync to G-Sync).
For the Nvidia graphics card, please check it here
For AMD graphics card, please check it here
Second, check if your monitor features the VRR function.
Our models feature the VRR function below:
XL2730Z, XL2540, XL2546S, XL2731, XL2740, XL2746S, XL2540K, XL2540KE, XL2546K, XL2731K, XL2746K, XL2566K, XL2546X, XL2546X+, XL2586X, XL2566X+

On the monitor, please turn off DyAc/DyAc+/DyAc 2 (if your monitor has that feature) through the monitor menu, since DyAc/DyAc+/DyAc 2 is not compatible with variable fresh rate technology. Then, turn on the Adaptive-Sync/FreeSync Premium function through the monitor menu.
