The mouse works fine when moving up or down, but when the mouse points in any other direction, the sensor lags, stops entirely, or moves at 1/3 speed. What should I do?
1. Clean the sensor lens with a brush.
2. Test the mouse on a different surface/mousepad.
3. Disable "Enhance pointer precision" in your mouse properties
a) Control Panel > Mouse
b) Pointer Options > Uncheck Enhance pointer precision
4. Test the mouse on a different Hz. Make sure the mouse is UNPLUGGED.
a) 125 Hz: Hold mouse 4+5 and plug the mouse into USB.
b) 500 Hz: Hold mouse 5 and plug the mouse into USB.
c) 1,000 Hz: Hold mouse 4 and plug the mouse into USB. (Only do this if you have previously changed to 125 or 500 Hz).
5. Change LOD settings.
a) If you feel the lift-off distance is too low:
• Please disconnect the mouse, then hold down M4 + M1 + M2 while reconnecting the mouse through USB
b) If you feel the lift-off distance is too high:
• Please disconnect the mouse, then hold down M4 + M1 while reconnecting the mouse through USB
c) If you want to return to the standard setting:
• Please disconnect the mouse, then hold down M5 + M1 while reconnecting the mouse through USB
d) For plastic-pads:
• Please disconnect the mouse, then hold down M4 + M2 while reconnecting the mouse through USB.
6. Reinstall the mouse driver
a) Control Panel > Mouse > Device Manager
b) Expand Mice and other pointing devices > Right click HID-compliant mouse and select uninstall
c) After that is done, restart your PC.
