Why is my wireless mouse lagging after I replaced the mouse skates?

After replacing the mouse skates, lag or tracking issues may occur if the new skates are thicker than the original ones, which can affect the sensor’s working distance.

For ZOWIE DW series mice, the original mouse skates are approximately 0.5 mm thick. If thicker third-party skates are installed, the sensor height may change and lead to tracking issues.

If you experience tracking issues after replacing the mouse skates, we recommend adjusting the Lift-Off Distance (LOD) setting to Medium or High and then testing the mouse again.
