Why do some games exit when FreeSync Premium / Adaptive-Sync is turned off or on?

This is normal behavior, much like making major changes to the graphics settings of a game. When FreeSync Premium is enabled or disabled with a game running, some games will be affected because graphics settings need to be reset for the change to take effect.
