Why does the scroll wheel on my wireless mouse occasionally malfunction? Sometimes it does not respond when scrolling, and at other times it scrolls slowly on its own even when the wheel is not being touched.
ZOWIE mice use an optical scroll wheel design to deliver stable signal performance. Compared to a mechanical structure, optical sensing helps reduce component wear over long-term use, maintaining consistent scrolling feel and durability.
However, in certain high-intensity lighting environments, external light sources (such as direct sunlight or light emitted from a heater) may interfere with the scroll wheel signal.
If you experience abnormal scroll wheel behavior, please try the following:
• Avoid direct sunlight or other strong light sources shining onto the scroll wheel area.
• Close curtains or adjust the light source position to reduce ambient light interference.
If the issue persists after eliminating external factors, please contact BenQ Customer Support. Our team will provide further technical assistance.
