Why does my wireless mouse randomly lag or stuck, how do I fix it?
Please follow the steps as follows:
1. When you are connecting via 4K enhanced receiver: (Please refer to the photo below and the user manual for more detailed information.
a. Keep the mouse and the receiver aligned in the center for optimal performance.
b. For optimal performance, use the mouse approximately 20 cm away from the receiver at an angle of 50 degrees (left and right).
c. Keep the receiver at least 50 cm away from other possible signal interference such as wireless routers.
d. Below are incorrect setup methods for reference.
2. To check the performance of your PC:
If the CPU utilization rate is greater than 90% when the report rate is 4K, we would suggest changing it to 2K to see if the problem disappears.
3. To check the cable connection method:
a. While we strongly recommend you use the included USB-C cable for connection, if you indeed lost it then any certified USB-C cable will suffice. However, we cannot warrant the performance of third party cables.
b. For Type-A connectors that are too loose due to prolonged use of certain PC USB ports, please try to connect it with other ports with a tighter fit.
c. Please plug the cable directly into the PC/NB USB port and do not connect it through the docking/adapter/hub.
4. To check the nearby device: There may be unintentional sources of interference in the environment, please try to remove (turn off or stay away) the 2.4 GHz device (ex. router, earphone, wireless keyboard, microphone...) close to your wireless mouse.
5. Clean the sensor lens with a brush.
6. Test the mouse on a different surface/mousepad.
7. Test the mouse on a different LOD setting.
8. Check if the signal is stable by the LED indicator on the receiver. If the LED indicator is flashing amber, move the receiver or mouse within the effective range until the LED indicator turns white.
9. Update your mouse to the latest firmware, the steps will be as following.
a. Connect the mouse to the computer via the provided USB cable. If you have multiple mice, connect and update one at a time.
b. Connect the USB receiver to the computer.
c. Click to launch the firmware update tool and the utility detects and shows the firmware status of the connected devices.
d. Click Update (if available) to update the firmware of the selected device. It takes a while to complete the process. You can tell the status by the displayed progress bar.
e. Remove the mouse. Connect the 4K enhanced receiver to the computer via the USB cable. If a firmware update is required, click Update.
f. Follow the same procedure until all devices are updated to the latest firmware version.
Note:
a. The white LED indicators on the mouse and 4K enhanced receiver will keep flashing during the firmware update process.
b. Do not disconnect the USB cable during the update.
