Is there any reason why my mouse doesn't work well on the mousepad I am using?

Test the mouse on a different LOD setting.

An all-black surface is an ideal color for tracking. If the mousepad has a lot of different colors, this sometimes interferes with the sensors.

And also, a dirty mousepad may impact the sensor detection, please use a wet cloth to clean your mousepad regularly.

And also, a damaged mousepad surface will impact the mouse sensor detection as well; if any issue happens, please try the mouse on a different mousepad to clarify the issue.
